Contents/Summary

Summary
"This book deals with what is usually called the philosophy of religion. I am never sure what religion, let alone philosophy is, but whatever religion is, it includes the history of gods, men, and the universe. Therefore the title, Religion, with its all-encompassing pretensions, could only compete with such works as Quine's On What There Is or Sartre's Being and Nothingness (probably the most comprehensive title ever devised)".
