Contents/Summary

Summary
Miss South Pacific is a documentary film about the impacts of climate change on South Pacific Island nations, told through the voices of the Miss South Pacific Pageant contestants 2009-2010. The contestants, or "Queens" as they are called, tell us how rising sea levels are now threatening low lying atolls and islands in the Pacific and how salt water intrusion is damaging their crops and contaminating their drinking water, forcing many to evacuate their island homes.
