- Summary
- After the US and allied invasion of Iraq in 2003, thousands of Palestinians were forced to flee to refugee camps in the desert. The distant republic of Chile welcomed a group of them to La Calera, a small town where hundreds of Palestinians had arrived a century before. The film tells the story of Basem, a young Palestinian baker who has just arrived with his wife and young daughter.
