Summary

The documentary follows the emotional journey of ten students from George Mason University who traveled to Serbia in May 2017 to visit refugee camps. The film features meetings between the students, international aid workers, and asylum-seekers who are kept in refugee camps in the Serbian cities of Šid and Subotica while waiting for entry into Europe. The film unfolds through successive encounters of the students and migrants as we hear both sides passionately share their personal stories
