- In rural Transylvania, a young Roma girl is preparing to give birth. While following her daily journey, the viewers are invited to piece together her past from bits and pieces we are told, how she was kidnapped to be married and later saved by her future husband. As their love story unfolds, we get to know her family’s struggles and the challenges they face as Transylvanian Roma whilst trying to integrate into society. Although facing an uncertain future while her husband is far away, Angela finds relief and hope in her faith, reminding the viewers that 'what God promises, stands before family'.
