- The documentary is the story of Dominique's life and inspiring transformation and growth in those years on death row. It is a story about how a young, angry and desperate boy who grew up in a culture of abuse and poverty became a loving, wise and compassionate man. It is journey from violence and ignorance to strength and knowledge. Dominique Green was just 19 years old when he was sentenced to die by the state of Texas for the shooting death of a 41 year old man. Dominique always maintained his innocence and the victim's family pleaded for clemency. But after spending 11 years on Texas death row, 3 lethal injections ended Dominique's life on October 26, 2004.
