The film is about Gulu a small town located in northern Uganda in an area ravaged by a terrible civil war led by the Lord's Liberation Army (LRA) and the Ugandan government. The hardness of a conflict that has lasted almost 30 years and the problems of black Africa present a bleak panorama with little room for hope. One day, a photographer from Jerez de la Frontera comes to teach a photography course in collaboration with a local NGO. That first encounter with the youth of Gulu changes his life and he decides to embark on creating a permanent school to help young people eager for knowledge.
