Summary
The film documents a peaceful protest and civil disobedience against uranium mining in Eastern Ontario, Canada, led by Algonquin Indians. 30,000 acres of Native territory is staked by a uranium exploration and mining company. Algonquins declared a moratorium on uranium mining and delivered their message to the Parliament by canoeing down the river ways. The company had started uranium exploration activity without notification or negotiations with the legal owners of the land.
