- Summary
- Marita Verón was kidnapped from her house and is believed to have been sold as a prostitute. Without help from the Argentinean authorities her mother spent years tirelessly searching for her daughter. Though she could not find Marita, her quest contributed to identifying and rescuing more than 200 girls who had suffered a similar fate and drawing attention to the growing phenomenon of human trafficking.
