- The Taipei Animal Shelter is home to more than a hundred stray dogs. The dogs that enter the shelter don’t have names, but are merely given a set of numbers that mark their date of entry. They remain in the shelter, cramped and nameless, until they are adopted or euthanized. This film poses an important question: Why do such shelters exist in our society? Are they good for the dogs, or for us?
