Summary
A documentary about the Weiss family - one of the most prominent actors of pre-WW2 Hungarian economy. Manfred and Berthold Weiss established their company in the 1880’s, and moved to Csepel a decade later, which became the stronghold of the Hungarian and European industry. The film follows the history of the Weiss family and its three talented businessmen: Manfréd Weiss, and his sons-in-law Móric Kornfeld and Ferenc Chorin Jr. who played a significant social, political and economic role in years of prosperity and turmoil.
