Summary
"Latcho drom" (Have a good trip) - the gypsies say to each other, then set off. This “documentary-like, video-clip-like, feature-film, ethnic musical silent film” traces from their Indian homeland what landscapes they have scattered, how they are trying to stay what they are. From the archaic sheer landscapes of India, the fictional journey begins, to the technocracy of the metropolises much more familiar to us, to Spain. Along the way, the magical richness of the East, the delicate, colorful clothes, the jewelry, the rhythm patterns and movements are lost. The surrounding cultures not only leave their special marks on the music, the dance, the language, but they also draw the features of the "natives" on their faces ...
