- The Suffragettes presents the story of Eufrocina Cruz Mendoza, an indigenous woman who won the elections in the municipality of Oaxaca, Mexico, and yet she is not allowed to exercise her traditional customs. Looking for a comparison of the situation of women in the world and in politics, the film includes interviews with important women personalities to approach the gender subject and the debate on the right to vote.
