Recording of the public lecture held by the Dalai Lama who, at the invitation of the CEU and the Open Society Institute (OSI) visited CEU in Budapest on October 12, 2000. CEU Warsaw Pro-Rector Edmund Mokrzyczki introduces the Dalai Lama. Katalin E. Koncz, Executive Director of OSI–Budapest delivers the introductory remarks and offers Dalai Lama a symbolical gift. The lecture the Dalai Lama delivered to the CEU/OSI/IMC Community was entitled "Ethics for the New Millennium" and took place in the CEU Auditorium. The lecture is followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
