- In Boston, in the year 1951 a man called Tommy makes home movies. As a soldier, he is sent to fight in the Korean War and he takes his camera along. The film contains footage from the US military camps and conditioning of boys in the U.S. to join the military, and the banality of life as soldiers prepare for battle.
