- The film presents a series of scenes shot in Paraguay during a film festival to which the filmmaker was invited.These scenes evoke the time when she lived in Asuncion during the dictatorship of general Stroessner. The film additionally traces the visits to Asuncion occurring in the three years following the film festival in which "'things' happened and kept happening. And [Dubosc] kept shooting... And just like in a "magic realism" novel by Rulfo or Marquez the past kept coming back into the present."
