Summary
Shelter is a documentary film on the issue of Nepali Squatters. The film closely observes the life of a squatter family consisting of a mother and a daughter. Through self narration, the film presents their struggle from the perspective of Meena Basnet, the mother. It follows her realization about the importance of education and her determination to educate her daughter at any cost. Besides the life of the family, the film covers squatter movements, the role of government and role of political parties
