- Summary
- “Tonia and Her Children” is a film about the consequences of parents’ ideological choices. Tonia Lechtman was a communist and following World War II she was arrested leaving her children, Wera and Marcel Lechtman, to live in children’s homes. Many years later, Wera and Marcel recollect the past and try to understand their mother’s choices.
