With examples from the UK, Germany, former Yugoslavia and Iraq, Petersen invites us to question where the 'line' between good and evil should be drawn. In Iraq, an American lieutenant colonel puts a gun to a prisoner's head, forcing him to reveal his assassination plans. The officer saves his men but is later tried by a military court.
