- Imane is a 15 year old girl who lives with her family in the housing establishment "Les Bosquets" in the suburb "Montfermeil", at the edge of Paris - the place where the riots started in October 2005. The footbal ground is a central place for the citizens of "Les Bosquets". Imane plays soccer and has the reputation to be a "garcon manque" - a tomboy. She would like to become a police woman to show that Arabs are not merely troublemakers. But when the riots break out again, she comes to terms with her real identity.
