a| It is almost impossible to go to Bahrain as a journalist as the small Persian Gulf monarchy does not issue visas to the press. Nevertheless, for a year, every day, women and men have gone to demonstrate in the street, risking their lives, demanding more democracy and freedom. Every week people are arrested, tortured and killed by the police. The filmmaker went as a tourist to Bahrain. Helped by various people, she stayed hidden from the Bahraini authorities which were looking for her. During one month the Bahraini helped her to stay hidden, hosting her from house to house, to be able to testify about lives.
