The film presents images of the degenerating premises are accompanied on the one hand side by journalist Frank Döbert summing up its history: built by the Nazis, they had been home for 46 missiles with nuclear warheads during the Cold War until their last use as an initial reception center for asylum applicants. This concrete history of the premises is contrasted on the other hand by political scientist Tobias Pieper who reflects on the handling of asylum seekers from the Second World War until our present days by the Federal Government of Germany.
