- Summary
- A road movie following the road that originally joined the gold mines of the Johannesburg region. It portrays the chaos of urbanization and the forces that drive it, and searches for the sense of identity among the people of the new province of Gauteng. Rasta, fighting eviction, a beauty queen who races cars for her country, and the sub-culture of American car-buffs are some of the aspects of the new socio-political context resulting from ‘modernization’ being investigated in this film.
