- Notes
- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

- Contents Summary
- Photo montage of a conference room, the dedication plaque, and Howland H. Sargeant. Next to Sargeant there is a radio equipment and he is holding a Hellschreiber printout tape. In the conference room there are 11 men and one woman sitting around a table, except for two men, who are sitting by the window, away from the central table. All are formally dressed. There are papers, pens in front of them. A heavy curtain covers the far wall, there is a large window on the left hand side wall. The space is lit by neon lights coming from a low ceiling. The plaque reads: This conference room is dedicated to Howland H. Sargeant (1911-1984) who was president of Radio Liberty Committee, Inc. from 1954 to 1975 and guided Radio Liberty through its formative years.HU OSA 300-1-8:6/13 and HU OSA 300-1-8:6/14 show the same event.
