- Notes
- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

- Busy news room with five men reading and discussing over sheets of papers and one woman arranging files. They all wear office clothes. In the middle of the photograph there are two aisles of telex machines with long papers hanging out of them, and two carts. On the wall there are bunches of papers hanging from hooks, in front of them a tall filing cabinet. Three clocks on the wall show the Moscow, Munich and New York times.
