a| It is early morning and the sky is getting brighter over a Kurdish village as it starts to snow. People gradually emerge from their homes and tend to their everyday chores. We follow a little boy visiting his father's grave and then to his house where his mother tells us about the death of her husband. During the Iraq-Iran war the area was covered with mines and the father died trying to retrieve one to sell it back to Iran for money. Every Friday the little boy visits his father's grave and pretends he is a soldier defending his home.
