Contents/Summary
- Summary
- In the Northern Province of Argentina, descendants of the original people of the land, the Guarani, have for years suffered displacement and repression at the hands of the sugar refinery San Martín del Tabacal. In 1996 the Multinational Seaboard Corporation purchased the refinery and fired 6000 employees thrusting many into extreme poverty. The mass eviction that ensued provoked over 150 families of workers and peasants to organise to recuperate their lands. Animated sequences of a fight between a tiger and bull, depict the Guarani People battle the multinational corporation in the ultimate struggle to gain back control of their ancestral lands.
