- Summary
- The story of six political prisoners who participated in death fasts in order to protest the F-Type cell system in Turkey's prisons in 1996. They began to suffer from the Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome after 69 days on hunger strike. The inmates werereleased on health grounds and are now trying to cope with the aftermath: speech impediments, lack of muscle coordination, balance problems, amnesia and hallucinations.
