- In 1987, Negro – 11 years old and Gringo – one year younger, worked together like so many other children at Lima’s Wholesale Fruit Market. The filmmaker meets the two of them 20 years later and documents their lives, jobs, and dreams, which have changed a lot since then. Negro and Gringo reflect upon the past, the present and the future of Peru.
