Documentary film about Finnish women who after the end of the "Continuation War" between Finland and the Soviet Union (1941-44) followed the departing German soldiers from Finland to Germany and later returned to their homelands, where they were often called "soldiers' babies" with shame and shame were received. The filmmaker succeeds in persuading some of the women, now over 80 years of age, to comment on their journey and their difficult return home for the first time. Thus, the film gets to work on a largely repressed chapter in both the life of the protagonists and the Finnish history.
