a| 'Frontier Messages' by Xuban Intxausti is a documentary filmed in Ceuta as part of Europa Transit, one of the travelling embassies of San Sebastian 2016 European Capital of Culture. The film follows Sergi Cámara, a documentary photojournalist who has spent more than ten years working at the Southern frontier of Europe. His project is to photograph immigrants who have been living on the continent for some time now and ask them to leave a message to those who have just crossed the border. The photographs and messages will be displayed in the Centre for Temporary Stay of Immigrants in Ceuta, where more than 800 people are waiting for the Spanish Ministry of the Interior to authorise their move to the Peninsula.
