a| Gera, the successful gypsy painter, leaves his privileged position and returns to his comrades-in-arms after burning his paintings. His plan is to reform the lives of gypsies. But no one can be a prophet in his own country. They do not understand his intentions and goals and cannot influence others. Then their tempers are released at the funeral of a suicidal little girl. The film is a documentary-like presentation of the world of the Gypsies in the 70's.
