Summary

The first part comprises introductory texts on Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, the siege of Sarajevo, and the project. The second, main section of the book contains a selection from the collection of the War Childhood Museum, 1,030 short recollections from people who spent some part of their childhood under Bosnia and Herzegovina's 1992-1995 war. The third section has a visual focus, bringing together keepsakes: photographs, drawings, diary entries, stories, letters, etc.
