520    This DVD includes two final episodes of this 13-part TV-series on Belgrade communist resistance in the wake of the liberation of the city. In the twelfth episode it is already obvious that the partisans will be in Belgrade within hours. Tihi’s group has one last mission: to save the bridge that the Germans plan to blow up after crossing it on their way to Austria. The mission is delicate and the explosives expert is called in again. Marija and Tihi finally admit their feelings to each other. Meanwhile, frustrated ex-miner Zaharija who lives near the bridge decides to join in the liberation of the city. While Tihi and Prle are investigating the situation around the bridge, Zaharija removes explosives planted in his basement. Prle reveals his plan to divert the guards on the bridge so that engineer Milan can cut the cables. But Zaharija makes a move on his own and when in the evening Prle and Milan get to the bridge they can only see that somebody has already cut the cables. On their way back Prle realizes his friend Cane has been shot.
