It's 90 years since the birth of Anna Andreevna Akhmatova.
French Slavic students took an exam in Russian literature in the form of a theatrical performance "Anna Akhmatova's Requiem". The production director is Leningrad director living in Paris, Anatoly Shaginyan.

The performance features music - church hymns, lamentations for the dead, lamentations for the martyred.
Documentary recordings of fragments from the performance are played.
Anna Akhmatova's Requiem has not yet been published in the USSR. It is performed in concert for the first time.
