Contents/Summary

Summary
A tragicomic Christmas story based upon a screenplay by Jerzy Pilch. The middle-aged manager of a company spends the last day before Christmas with colleagues, with his ex wife and current partner. The alcohol that he has drunk during all these meetings puts him into a strange mood and his behavior becomes irritating and embarrassing. He returns home and promises not to drink. He breaks his promise, and is taken to his mother who takes care of him and waits for him to sober up. They spend Christmas Eve together. He gets a yellow scarf from her as a present. It is supposed to be a talisman that will protect him from his addiction. When he leaves for home, though, his mother notices that he forgot to take the yellow scarf.
