Contents/Summary
- Summary
- “The Billboard from Bethlehem” is a timely documentary where the owner of an American billboard company (‘I Wage Peace’, founder Bruce A. Barrett) invites Israeli soldiers and Palestinian resistance fighters and children from both sides (The Combatants for Peace) to paint a giant peace mural in the West Bank. In May 2007 over 100 Palestinian and Israeli children and adults hand painted a giant mural that was flown to the United States and shown on I-95 and RT 84 in Connecticut. The film provides insight into the humanity of both sides, material for substantive discussion on the issues, and inspiring examples of how peace can be found, all through numerous interviews and testimonies.
