This film tells the story of books and people, the love of literature, and how written word makes its way into the most remote corners of this world. It follows three mobile libraries in Kenya, Mongolia and Bangladesh. In the Kenyan bush, close to the unsecured border of Somalia, the librarian Abdullahi Osman and his co-workers bring books on camelback to remote nomadic tribes. In Bangladesh, a country repeatedly visited by flooding, typhoons and tidal waves, the architect Mohammed Rezwan has built a library boat. In Mongolia, children's book writer Jambyn Dashdongog uses the most unconventional transportation to bring the children of the isolated highland plateau two small boxes full of books.
