- Summary
- Borj el Akerma is a village of phosphate miners in southern Tunisia. It is here that the Gafsa revolt began in 2008, a precursor to the 2011 Revolution. The film takes place in spring 2012, when the village is trying to reassemble itself and resume everyday life. Without the phosphate mine, unemployment and despair continue to plague the people of Borj el Akerma.
