What begins as an observation of their daily lives develops into a story of devotion and dependence, change and immutability, and the solitude and sharing of two people who grow old together. The documentary shows the daily struggles, as well as the strength and determination of two elderly persons and their survival strategies. It is an intimate glimpse that brings to light existential questions – questions which viewers are inspired to ask themselves.
