In the ruined cemetery in Gorlice Poland, there is a grave of a righteous Rabbi forgotten by everyone except one follower, Israeli Meir Moszkowicz. Meir has come here every year for more than 30 years. He plans to build a new building in the cemetery. In his devoted efforts he meets the Mayor of the town and applies for European Union funds. Mostly he prays and believes in miracles, creating a history with little visible evidence.
