- Leipzig was an important center for alternative culture in the GDR. From 1985 till 1989 the gallery “Eigen+Art” in Leipzig-Connewitz was the center of independent exhibits and productions. The film reconstructs the history of this gallery and looks at the roots of independent art in the GDR.
