- Notes
- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

- Contents Summary
- Four high antennae in a field photographed from afar. The antennae stand at a distance from one another, each individually fenced. In the bottom right corner of the photo there is a two-story building. In the background there is a line of woods.
ORIGINAL CAPTION:
Truth Beacons. Four towers, 340 feet tall, beam broadcasts from this new Munich transmitter station, lower right, to behind the Iron Curtain. Munich, with 135,000 watts power, is one of the most powerful in Europe and almost three times stronger than the largest U.S. station. [struck out]: It was made possible by the Crusade for Freedom, which this year seeks enrollments of 25,000,000 Americans and contributions of $ 3,500,000, during the Crusade campaign in September.
