The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Two women and two men are walking towards the door and climbing the stairs. On both sides of the walkway to the building there are signs in English and German saying Radio Free Europe Englischer Garten, 1 made possible by American contributions to the Crusade for Freedom. Radio Free Europe Headquarters in Munich, Germany, is staffed by American supervisors and dedicated refugees from the Iron Curtain countries. Supported by voluntary contributions from the American people to the Radio Free Europe Fund, RFE sends undistorted news and information to 82,000,000 people in the Communist-dominated countries of Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Rumania and Bulgaria.
