On February 19th 2006, in the northern part of the State of Coahuila, Mexico, there was an explosion in the Coal Mine Pasta de Conchos, leaving 65 miners trapped. The company that owned the mine falsely declared all the miners dead, and the families of the victims began a long struggle for the recovery of the bodies. The investigations indicate that some of the miners trapped inside did not die during the explosion, and that they waited to be rescued. To hide their lie, the company, with the complicity of the government, suspended the recovery of the bodies. Two years after the tragedy, the families and friends of the victims continue their fight for their rights and justice.
