- A deep and unsettling examination of the desperate situation of the Yazidis in Northern Iraq. We accompany a young Yazidi man on the way back to his besieged village, where his elderly parents were left behind during the first wave of refugees. The rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria left countless families of the Yazidi minority in Kurdistan scattered, putting genocides, mass executions and enslavement on the daily agenda.
