- Summary
- There was a lake in southeastern of Iran named Hamoun. This lake on which the life of the locals depended dried in 1997. From then on, the 120-day winds of Sistan Province blew the sands of the lake bottom to the village. There was so much sand spreading through the alleys and houses that life in the village soon became unbearable.
