Contents/Summary

Summary
Filmed in Mexico, this documentary exhibits the challenges that Mexican women face when deciding to practice a very common sport in the world of men but less common for women. Famous athletes, such as Laura Serrano, Thania Cortes or Maribel Dominguez, talk about their passion for boxing or football and the hardships they face when practicing such sports in a rather conservative society. The interviews in this documentary present a variety of opinions:. on the one side there is contempt or disdain for women who choose to do what is 'traditionally' known as men's job and on the other side there are congratulations, encouragements and support for those who are powerful and strong-willed enough to do what they like despite the still existing constraints.
