A young female director working in the media is given a journalistic assignment to shoot a report about a well-known politician. Her camera follows Boris Nemtsov, the Former Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, it accompanies him in cars and train compartments, follows his election campaign in Yaroslavl, captures his jokes, dreams and plans, and reveals the innermost aspects of his personality. Gradually their business relationship turns into friendship, and the wider historical and political context narrows to a personal story. What emerges is an intimate portrait of the opposition leader who was assassinated near the Kremlin walls in February 2015.
