520    This film is focused on the assassination of two Polish missionaries,  Father Michal Tomaszek and father Zbigniew Strzalkowski,  in Peru in 1991by members of the Communist Party, or the the Shining Path (Sendero Luminoso). Documenting the motivations of the missionaries, the reactions of the Peruvian community, and the context for their death the film culminates with the beatification of the two missionaries by the Vatican in 2015.
